note to self: ahhhh! i'm getting married soon!

so i'm getting married in a couple months.

i am happy that i am finally marrying my fiance'. we've been engaged for 2 years. the only problem is that he doesn't have any family and i have a family. we've planned to just get married by ourselves. the minister is going to either come to our house, or we're going to her house. but... my grandma called me last night and is trying to persuade me to have a small wedding so that my mom, dad, brother, sister, and grandparents can come. i want them to come, but he doesn't want anyone there. so, i have about 2 months to persuade him that this is what i want:

it will be a night wedding in March in our back yard. we will have tiki torches in a half circle which we'll stand in. my family will just stand back each holding a candle. and that'll be it. then we can all go out to dinner.

that sounds simple enough, but not too much. he'll be able to handle that... i hope.
